Every bride wants to look and feel fabulous on her wedding day and now we're helping a group of blushing, and very busy, brides-to-be make that wish a reality. The series follows 20 brides for three to four months as they slim down and tone up to look their best in their wedding dress, all while planning the wedding of their dreams.

All the brides live in the New York area, and each has her own unique set of pre-wedding challenges. Most of the brides set out to lose an average of 20 pounds, and all have problem areas to focus on, as well as various unhealthy eating habits to break.

With the help of experienced personal trainers, including author Sue Fleming, the women undergo a healthy regimen of weight training, aerobics and other cardiovascular activity, as well as nutritional counseling to help them meet their specific goals. Buff Brides follows them every step of the way, tracking their progress while getting buff, and sharing their emotional highs and lows as they rush to get gowns fitted, invitations mailed and flowers ordered.

Each hour-long episode follows two brides-to-be through their training and documents their transformation into the brides they have always dreamed of becoming. Every episode includes excerpts from each bride's personal video diary revealing her innermost thoughts and anxieties.

Viewers will also meet the brides' fiancés, friends and family members, and watch how they support and encourage their efforts. Not every bride will reach her goal, but every episode will end with each featured bride's dream wedding.
