Find out how Elpida has been doing since the taping of her Buff Brides episode ended ...
Q: If you didn't reach your weight-loss goal before the wedding, have you since reached it?
A: No, but I am working on it. I am hoping to continue to work out regularly and stick to a healthier diet and lifestyle.
Q: Did you gain any weight on your honeymoon?
A: Surprisingly, no! We ate so many amazing dinners while we were in Hawaii, but we also kept active by hiking, snorkeling and working out at the hotel gyms.
Q: What's your favorite body part now?
A: If I HAVE to choose, I'd say my shoulders and back.
Q: What is your favorite food now that you've gone through the Buff Brides experience?
A: I dont know if it's my favorite food, but soy chips and dried fruits are my new "healthy" snacks. I am a big snacker, so I need to continue to find better snacks than my favorites chocolate, Twizzlers, etc.
Q: Do you think you'll be able to maintain your weight and exercise routine now that the wedding has passed?
A: Yes, I hope so. I was on a hiatus from the gym for the first few weeks after the honeymoon as I tried to adjust back to regular life and get back into a routine. Now I am trying to go at least three times a week. It's amazing to me how quickly you can build up endurance and strength but yet how quickly you can also lose it!! In addition to doing my own regimen, I'm also trying to get back into going to classes. Jason, my trainer, had a great "Total Body Conditioning" class that I used to go to. I'm looking forward to doing other classes like that as well as checking out yoga and Pilates classes, which I've never tried before.
Q: How do you feel physically and emotionally now that the Buff Brides experience and your wedding is over?
A: Settled, confident, happy, motivated ... yet, admittedly, a little bit relieved that the camera isn't following me!
