Q: What was your diet and exercise regimen during your Buff Brides experience?
A: I did not have a strict eating plan ... I was just careful. I tried to keep my fat and calorie intake low, and to eat a lot of fruits veggies and foods high in protein.
Q: What was your favorite part of the experience?
A: My favorite part was knowing that I could achieve success on my own. Yes, I had a trainer, but he couldn't work out for me. The work was mine to do and I did it.
Q: What was your least favorite part of the experience?
A: My least favorite part was the time constraints on my everyday life. Besides having a busy job and planning a wedding, I was now working out for at least an hour and a half to two hours a day five days a week!!!
Q: Who was your biggest cheerleader?
A: I would have to say it's a tie between my two biggest cheerleaders. My maid of honor and best friend, Shannon, and my husband, Lawrence. He was amazing ... always behind me and on my side.
Q: Do you think you'd have been as happy on your wedding day if you hadn't lost the weight?
A: No, I don't think I would have been as happy. So much focus at a wedding is on the bride and how "beautiful" she looks. If I didn't feel beautiful that day, I think it would have shown and reflected in my attitude.
Q: What would you have done differently in regard to the program?
A: I don't think I would have done anything differently.
Q: What would you have done differently in regard to the wedding?
A: NOT A SINGLE THING. To me, my wedding day was a fairy tale ... a total dream come true for my husband and I.
