Q: What was your diet and exercise regimen during your Buff Brides experience?
A: The regimen was working out at the gym with the trainer three times a week, doing cardio on my off days and eating 1,500 calories a day. What did I REALLY do? I trained three times a week, TRIED to do cardio whenever I could (which was not very often), and TRIED to eat 1,500 calories a day.
Q: What was your favorite part of the experience?
A: Working with a trainer. It was really great to have someone there pushing me through it even if I didn't want to be there.
Q: What was your least favorite part of the experience?
A: Not being able to eat whatever I wanted whenever I wanted.
Q: Who was your biggest cheerleader?
A: I had so many people supporting me, it's hard to really pick just one. David, my three best friends, my family, my co-workers they all really got behind me, even when I didn't want them there.
Q: Do you think you'd have been as happy on your wedding day if you hadn't lost the weight?
A: I think I would have been just as happy on my wedding day, mostly because I was getting married. I don't think I would have really thought about it. It might have been a little nudge in the back of my mind, but you realize that when that big day comes, there are more important things in your life.
Q: What would you have done differently in regard to the program?
A: I would had listened to Julian (my trainer) and done A LOT more cardio.
Q: What would you have done differently in regard to the wedding?
A: I think I would have done a bit more research on a few things before I made the plans.
