Q: What was your diet and exercise regimen during your Buff Brides experience?
A: Thanks to my master trainer, Oscar Mendez, my exercise regimen was very disciplined and complete. My diet consisted of good, solid, energy-fulfilling foods. We started out by eliminating all sugar-induced liquids. That's right! Sixteen weeks of only water. I learned there are many forms of drinking water. I cut out that sweet tooth. No fried foods. I stayed away from carbs after lunch. I ate five to six times a day, and I felt great. My trainer and I worked out three days a week together, and I worked out two days on my own. Every workout started with four minutes of cardio, burning 500 calories each session, and I did it. We did it all in the gym jump-roping, doing squats, jumping jacks, mini-sprints, boxing (l gained a lot of respect for boxers), step aerobics and my favorite, WEIGHTS.
Q: What was your favorite part of the experience?
A: Getting to know all the wonderful, friendly, supportive and helpful people from New York Sports Club, Pangolin Pictures, Repechage Spa, and all the people involved in every aspect of Buff Brides.
Q: What was your least favorite part of the experience?
A: I did not have a least favorite part.
Q: Who was your biggest cheerleader?
A: Myself.
Q: Do you think you'd have been as happy on your wedding day if you hadn't lost the weight?
A: I would have been happy on my wedding day however, Buff Brides gave me the opportunity to be happy and CONFIDENT.
Q: What would you have done differently in regard to the program?
