Q: What words of advice on dieting do you have for women who are now in your shoes?
A: The commitment that you make to working out is just a prelude to the commitment you make to your husband-to-be. If you want to look your best it's hard work. It's true. There is no special pill, there is no such thing as spot reduction, and there is no such thing as it being easy. Scales do not lie and getting on them daily is a good positive and visual reinforcement. I say you can cheat a little maybe once a week but make it worth it (and only if you are rewarding good behavior).
Live your life and be happy. Your husband picked you because of what's inside, not outside!
Q: What words of advice on exercise do you have for women who are now in your shoes?
A: You will not feel like going to the gym every day, but go anyway, because this is an accomplishment all on its own. You should feel inspired once you arrive. However, if you are not going to sweat, get off the bike, the elliptical or whatever you are on and leave because moving as fast as a mosquito doesn't cut it. Turn in early, eat right and go back tomorrow with a more determined drive.
