Q: What was your favorite food before becoming a Buff Bride?
A: My favorite food was bread or any variation of it (doughnuts, cake and bagels).
Q: What was your favorite body part before losing your weight?
A: Ummmm ... body part? Does my face count? There weren't too many others ... maybe my hands and nails (well-manicured that is).
Q: What was your motivation to lose the weight and get fit?
A: My motivation was really to feel beautiful and sexy, which would lead to a higher confidence level. One of the names that Zack calls me all the time is "Beauty." Well, I really wanted to feel that way. I waited a long time to get married and I wanted everything to be beautiful, including myself. It's the day you never forget, and it's memorialized with zillions of pictures! Knowing this I figured if not now, when?
Q: Did you exercise before becoming a Buff Bride? If so, how often and what did you do?
A: Before becoming a Buff Bride I used to work out at New York Sports Club two times weekly with a trainer. But our hour-long sessions were geared mostly toward strength training and getting me into good cardiovascular health. So when it came time to work out under the Buff Brides program I was familiar with most of the weight equipment and routines ... or so I thought!
The Buff Brides program kicked it up a few notches. And lo and behold, I began to lose weight. I truly believe the workouts coupled with good, clean eating made the difference.
Also, for me it's always better to have a goal and a deadline.
