Tammy Lakatos Shames and Elysse ("Lyssie") Lakatos are not only identical twins. They also share identical success in the field of nutrition and wellness.

The Lakatos sisters began their careers as nutritionists in Atlanta, Ga., where they built a highly reputable private practice working with individuals and corporate clients such as Ford Motor Company and Turner Broadcasting. In 1999, they moved their thriving business to New York City. Their client list includes celebrities from NBC and other employees of the network and members of Athlete International and the New York Health and Racquet Club. They have also worked with the U.S. Eco-Challenge team and the top male players on the Worldwide Senior Tennis Circuit.

In a new venture with Simon and Schuster, the twins are co-authoring a nutrition book due out in March 2004. The Lakatos sisters are cum laude graduates of the University of Maryland and received post-graduate degrees in nutrition education at Emory University and Meredith College.
