Pineapple Ginger Protein Shake

Yield: 1 portion

Ingredients:

Juice:
1/8 pineapple
1/8 cantaloupe
½ inch piece ginger root

Blended:
1 cup nonfat milk
1 package lean protein powder
1 heaping Tablespoon vitamin C crystals
1 heaping Tablespoon multivitamin-mineral powder
2 Tablespoons liquid aminos
a couple of ice cubes

Optional:
1 large teaspoon Creatine monohydrate

Method:

  1. Using a juicer, juice pineapple, cantaloupe and ginger. Make sure you juice the ginger first to allow proper filtration.
  2. In a blender, puree this juice with the milk, protein powder, vitamin C crystals, multivitamin-mineral powder, liquid aminos and a couple of ice cubes. Puree until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour in a glass, garnish and enjoy.
