1 medium size Granny Smith apple
1 ounce smoked Gouda cheese (about 1" piece)
10 dry roast, salted pistachio nuts
Cut apple into quarters (lengthwise).
Remove core and seeds.
Place apple onto microwave-safe plate.
Cut one ounce (1") of cheese into 4 pieces (lengthwise).
Top each apple slice with piece of cheese.
Put plate into microwave & heat for approximately 20-30 seconds or until cheese is soft & melted.
While apples are in the microwave, shell & chop pistachios into small pieces.
Remove apples from microwave & sprinkle nuts on top.
