Ethelda Worthy, a native New Yorker, first got interested in fitness and running as a young woman when she competed in races and marathons. She joined the Air Force and eventually landed in Los Angeles after being stationed at nearby Edwards Air Force Base. Her experience in the military introduced her to weight training while her overall physical abilities improved.
Ethelda, who's been singing since childhood, moved to Amsterdam in 1994, and performed as a singer and actor throughout Europe in various musicals. As a recording artist for the Savoy label in Germany, she had a hit song, "Deep in the Underground."
Ethelda is a collector of classic cars. It was her father's 1959 Cadillac that piqued her interest in automobiles. Her first car collection included a 280Z Datsun and a Datsun 300ZX. Soon she moved on to collecting rare classic Studebakers, and is the proud owner of a couple of "head turners" — a 1959 Silver Hawk and 1960 Lark IV convertible.
Before beginning her career as a personal trainer, Ethelda owned an interior decorating business for eight years with her girlfriend. Her move into fitness as a profession came unexpectedly. She didn’t search out clients to train: they came to her after seeing her natural abilities.
My favorite time of the day to work out is in the morning early morning you have the entire day to look and feel good.
My favorite workout is dumb bell shoulder press, and biceps curls and of course triceps.
The music I enjoy is house music, its has high energy that is the best.
First of all, the results keep you inspired. You have become a happier individual, because you have taken an interest itself. You start to look good and feel good. You smile a little more, You have a positive outlook on life. You now realize that working out has become a way of life, and you now know that your health is your wealth. That is a whole lot of motivation, I say to myself.
