Nancy Sexton has been involved in fitness since she was a kid. Born in Ohio, she attended the University of Akron on a full basketball scholarship. She then moved to New York City to pursue modeling and singing. After five years in the Big Apple, she was offered an overseas opportunity to model in Italy. She spent four years in Italy modeling and pursuing her singing career, and she also began personal training on an unofficial basis.
In 1998, Nancy returned to the United States and got her first certification. Nancy has trained men and women ranging in age from 11 to 85. Her clients include women before, during and after pregnancy, as well as people with sports injuries, bad backs, bad knees, alignment issues, rotator cuff injuries, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, type 1 and type 2 diabetes, heart patients, body builders, hard gainers and, of course, people who want to lose weight, tone up, just feel better and have more energy.
In May 2004, Nancy moved to Studio City, Calif., where she established her business and became an active member of the community. Nancy feels that every client she trains is different, which is why she tries to provide a program customized for her client's specific needs. Understanding and assessing a client's personal fitness level is the key to providing them with the best possible future in their exercise program.
My father died of poor health and drug complications at the age of 60. Drug complications don't kill you over night it's over time and you only get put on medications when you don't take care of yourself, my father had been sick at first from a lung condition but died because his body and systems died, due to side effects of the meds he was on. 60 is too young to die.
